This is what Prince George's downtown student housing development will look like

Student housing on Patricia Boulevard has the official green light

A new student housing apartment building is going to be built in downtown Prince George.

The new building got its final approval at the June 13 council meeting. City council passed the fourth and final reading and adopted the zoning bylaw, which will allow for the building to be constructed.

The building will be developed by Kelowna-based Fraction Projects for River City Ventures and will be located at 1404 Patricia Blvd., next to the Prince George Public Library.

The company’s development permit and variance application were also approved at council’s June 24 regular public meeting.

The apartment will be six storeys; it'll have wood and and architectural features to add visual effect.
