Is there a nasty pothole on your street that seems to be getting bigger and bigger every day?
Good news! There’s now a direct way for local residents and visitors to contact the City of Prince George to report such a problem, along with other citizen needs.
A new 311 service has taken into effect after City Administration received approval from the Canadian Radio-Television Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
Citizen services the dial-up line can be used for includes the following:
- Report on …
- Potholes
- Failed street lights
- Water-related issues
- Icy or snowy roads
- Missed garbage
- Unwanted graffiti
- Order or exchange garbage bins, or to report damaged ones
- Inquire about utility bills, property taxes, and licenses
- Request info on City Services and bylaws
- Get support for City online services
- Provide general feedback
Councillors received approval to apply for the 311 line in July 2018.
Residents who wish to hear a more in-depth report on the service can attend tonight’s council meeting, 6 p.m. at City Hall.
