Thunderstorm watch for Prince George ends

Rainy week ahead, except for Thursday and Sunday

More rain is predicted for the city later this week.

Environment Canada has ended a thunderstorm watch for the city.

More rain is in the forecast for Wednesday, after an overnight low of 3 C and Wednesday’s high will only get to 14 C, well below the average of 19 C.

Sunny skies are predicted for Thursday, heading for a high of 15 C.                                                                            

The lawns will be looking a little greener later in the week with rain in store for Friday and Saturday and highs of only 11-13 C.

Father’s Day weather should be quite pleasant - good news people who want to attend the Crusin’ Classics Show and Shine car show from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Sunday at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.

A mix of sun and cloud will persist into next week, with a high of 21 C for Monday.
