Traffic delays near Prince George

Drive B.C. is reporting some scheduled road maintenance in the Prince George area

There are a couple road maintenance events drivers in the Prince George region should be aware of according to Drive B.C.

On Highway 16 shoulder maintenance planned between Cowart Road and Ferry Ave for 0.2 km in Prince George is starting on Tuesday Aug 22, at 8 a.m. and will go until until Aug. 29 at 5 p.m.

The shoulder will be closed and drivers should watch for traffic control personnel.

Drivers heading south should be also be aware that on Highway 97 in both directions, pavement patching will be underway between Kragbak Rd and Sales Road for 87.1 km, starting 3 km south of Quesnel to 8 km north of Wildwood.

This work will go on until Friday Aug 25 and last from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. There will be single lane alternating traffic.
