There are several areas of Prince George that are or soon will be experiencing traffic delays.
Some of the disruptions are due to Rogers fibre splicing procedures.
The south intersection by Walmart on Southridge Avenue
- May experience minor traffic disruptions, Monday, Jan. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for fibre splicing for Rogers.
- Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
Queensway between Kaslo Street and Jasper Street
- May experience minor traffic disruptions on Friday, Jan. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for fibre splicing for Rogers.
- Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
Queensway between Moyie Street and Kaslo Street
- May experience minor traffic disruptions on Friday, Jan. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for fibre splicing for Rogers.
- Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
Ospika Boulevard North between Otway Road and McGowan Drive
- May experience minor traffic disruptions until Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for BC Hydro Utility work – pole replacements.
- Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
Fourth Avenue between Dominion Street and George Street
- The south sidewalk from Dominion Street to George Street is closed for work on the UNBC Wood Innovation building.
- Emergency vehicles WILL have access.
Quebec Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenue
- The east sidewalk will be open for pedestrian use this winter; Sixth Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed for the winter.
