United Way BC’s Tree of Lights returns to Prince George this holiday season.
The tree, located in the lobby of the Coast Prince George Hotel, will be lit up in sections that shine brighter as the United Way gets closer to its fundraising goal. When it's fully lit, that indicates the campaign has hit its targer of $40,000.
After a special kickoff event on Nov. 27, the tree will be lit until Dec. 20.
More information is available at uwbc.ca/campaign/tree-of-lights.
Organizations are invited to join the United Way's Community Champions Circle, with donations of $250 or more to United Way BC’s Tree of Lights received by Dec. 15 having their names listed on the website.
More details are to come, the United Way states.
