Fresh off one of the most memorable basketball seasons in school history that culminated with a conference bronze medal, the UNBC Timberwolves men’s basketball program, in conjunction with Canada West have unveiled their complete 20-game 2024-25 regular season schedule.
As head coach Todd Jordan returns for his 15th season as head coach, the Green and Gold begin conference play on Friday, Nov. 1 in Kelowna against the UBC Okanagan Heat.
Then it’s back North for the TWolves who’ll host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack on Sunday, Nov. 3 for their home opener.
The TWolves will play 11 times on the road, and nine times at home in 2024-25. Their first road double-header occurs on Nov. 8 and 9 when they head to the Island to battle the three-time defending league champs, from Victoria. One week later, the TWolves head to the Prairies for a road double-header with the Regina Cougars on Nov. 15 and 16.
The first home double-header of the season for UNBC occurs on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 against the UBC Okanagan Heat. The bye week is next, followed by the holiday break.
The 2025 portion of games begin on Jan. 10 back on the road, as the TWolves face the Fraser Valley Cascades. One night later, it’s off to UBC for a road clash with the 2025 U SPORTS National Championship hosts, the UBC Thunderbirds.
It’s back to the Northern Sport Centre on Thursday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 18 as UNBC welcome Victoria on Friday and Trinity Western on Sunday.
Up next are a pair of road games in Kamloops against TRU on Jan. 24 and 25, followed by a pair of home games against the UFV Cascades on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
Feb. continues with a double-header against Trinity Western on Feb. 7 and 8, and then the regular season winds down one week later when the TWolves welcome UBC back North for a double-header on Feb. 14 and 15.
