Wanted: Prince George RCMP looking for theft suspect

A local man is wanted on five separate warrants.

Prince George RCMP are looking for Jeffery Bryan Arnold, who is wanted on four unendorsed warrants and one endorsed warrant for three counts of theft under $5,000, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with blood alcohol content over 80 mg/100 ml, driving while disqualified, driving while licence suspended and failing to appear.

Arnold is 56. He's described as a white male, six feet tall (183 centimetres) and weighing 210 pounds (95 kilograms). He has brown hair and blue eyes, with Japanese symbols tattooed on his right forearm and the word "Liz" tattooed on his left upper arm.

Police describe Arnold as dangerous and say he should not be approached. Tips on his whereabouts should be called in to 250-561-3300 or, to remain anonymous, to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

In the BC court system, an endorsed warrant has been signed by a justice of the peace, meaning the suspect can be released from custody after being located and arrested. A person arrested on an unendorsed warrant, which has not been signed by a justice of the peace, is required to be held in custody before a court appearance.
