The Prince George RCMP is asking for help in finding a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
According to police, Shane Michael Grant, 39, failed to meet the conditions of his release after missing curfew at his designated residence in Prince George. The warrant, issued July 8, is for being unlawfully at large.
Grant, who police said should be considered violent, has an long criminal record in communities across western Canada including Vancouver, Surrey, Victoria, Kamloops, Kelowna, Calgary, Strathmore, Edmonton and Regina.
Grant is descibed as a Caucasian male, standing 5'11" tall and weighing 194 lbs. He has blond hair - though is bald - and has blue eyes. Grant also has a memorial tattoo on his right forearm.
