After a hot B.C. Day long weekend, Prince George received some much-needed rain overnight and more is in the forecast today with a risk of thundershowers later this afternoon.
The damp weather is expected to continue into Wednesday but the chance decreases to 30 per cent, with no more rain for the rest of the week in the forecast issued by Environment Canada.
We’re heading for a high of 20 C today and Wednesday’s high should reach 19 C.
A mix of sun and cloud in the forecast later in the week with temperatures near normal for this time of year. Highs will range from 20-21 C and lows will be in the 8-13 C range Thursday through Saturday. Sunday's high is predicted to hit 27 C.
The fair-weather forecast is good news for concert-goers expected to flock to the CN Centre parking lot for the fourth-annual Cariboo Rocks the North classic rock festival that starts at 4:30 p.m. Friday and continues through Sunday.
