A pair of watermain breaks in the area of downtown closed a pair of roads on Friday morning.
City crews were working to repair the watermain breaks, which took place overnight, the City of Prince George reported on its social media channels.
As of 10 a.m., Winnipeg Street was closed near the intersection of Ninth Avenue, just south of Duchess Park Secondary School, and Fifth Avenue was closed between Queensway and Ontario Street.
The city urged drivers to respect workers on the roads, and plan accordingly.
“If you live nearby and your water looks a little funky, don't worry - just turn on the cold water tap (the bathtub tap works best) and run your water until it's clear,” the City of Prince George Facebook post said.
BC Hydro crews were at work at the intersection of Carney Street and Massey Drive on Friday morning as well.
