PG Citizens of the Year 2019
Chuck Chin, Albert Koehler and Noreen Rustad were named Citizens of the Year in 2019.

The Prince George Community Foundation is looking for nominations for the Citizen of the Year Awards.

The foundation has announced it has refreshed the awards with three new categories to honour and recognize Prince George Citizens. They are the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Annual Difference Maker, and the Youth Achievement Award.

Nominations will be accepted from June 29 to July 27 and finalists will be announced in the fall of 2022.

Complete category guidelines and the nomination forms can be found on the Community Foundation’s website.

The awards were last held pre-COIVD-19 in 2019 where local photographer Chuck Chin, former city councillor Albert Koehler and philanthropist Noreen Rustad were all honoured.

The awards are meant to honour those who have gone above and beyond in community volunteering and philanthropy whether it be giving time giving of their time, talent, expertise, or just being a good advocate.
