Worksafe BC is currently investigating a fatality that occurred on the 900 block of the John Hart Highway.
The workplace where the accident occurred was owned by the deceased.
The incident occurred at around noon on Thursday, Feb. 27.
A representative from Worksafe BC said the purpose of the investigation is to identify the cause of the incident, including any contributing factors, so that similar incidents can be prevented from happening in the future.
Worksafe BC was not able to provide any additional details while the investigation is underway.
