The 2014 Scotties Tournament of Hearts BC Women's Curling Championship will be hosted by the Prince George Golf and Curling Club.
The date is tentatively set for Jan. 6-12 of that year.
The 10-team bonspiel -- a round-robin event followed by a four team playoff -- is a qualifier for the national Scotties.
The 2013 BC champion will automatically receive a berth in the 2014 provincials, while a second spot will be awarded to the top BC team in the Canadian Team Ranking System as of Dec. 1, 2013. The remaining eight berths will be decided through playdowns.
The PGGCC hosted the 2000 national Scott Tournament of Hearts and was named club of the year by Curl BC.
