Goaltender Tyler Brennan picked up his second shutout of the season as the Prince George Cougars snapped their three-game losing streak with a 1-0 victory over the Vancouver Giants on Tuesday night at CN Centre.
Brennan stopped 27 shots and was named the game’s first star. Brennan said the shutout was extra special because his family attended the game. It was his second shutout in his last three starts.
Connor Bowie scored the only goal in the game, on the power-play, three and a half minutes into the second period.
The Cougars (6-6-0-0) look for the sweep against the Giants (6-3-1-0) tonight; game time is 7 p.m.
