The UNBC women’s basketball team has signed six-foot-three post Nyakhon Wuor from Calgary.
Wuor, who plays her club basketball at Supreme Hoops Canada, visited UNBC’s Prince George campus in March, where she had a chance to tour the facilities, train with the current iteration of the varsity roster, and learn from UNBC head coach Sergey Shchepotkin.
Wuor, who just turned 17 years old in December, will graduate from All Saints High School in June, and enroll in UNBC’s business program. She will join her new teammates for training camp at the Northern Sport Centre in September.
