With non-starters on the floor for a good chunk of the game, the UNBC Northern Timberwolves still beat up on the Columbia Bible College Bearcats.

The Timberwolves, one of the top teams in the B.C. Colleges Athletic Association women's basketball league, completely dominated the last-place Bearcats Friday night at the Northern Sport Centre. The final score was 122-31.

"It was one of those games where the team is not very good and you just play your bench the whole time," said Rachel Hulme, interim head coach of the Timberwolves. "You work on your offence and you work on things that you're going to come up with against other players.

Later Friday night, the UNBC men's team handed the CBC men a similar experience. That game ended 107-65 in favour of the home side.

The Timberwolves and Bearcats will meet again Saturday night (women at 6, men at 8) in the final games of the regular season.
