The three members of the B.C. Lions had James Ingle's full attention.

Ingle was in attendance at Saturday's Play With the Pros football camp, held at the Northern Sport Centre fieldhouse. The 17-year-old Ingle not only plays football, he coaches it. So, he had extra reason to soak up all the tips being offered by Lions players Paris Jackson, Justin Sorensen and Tad Crawford.

"I learned quite a bit," said Ingle, a Grade 11 student at Duchess Park secondary. "I learned how to coach better.

"I picked up on how to work with the younger kids -- how to interact with them and how you need to be simpler with them. You have to explain to them, demonstrate, and you have to have a sense of humour."
