The final event of the Prince George Stock Car Racing Association came to crashing halt.
Jeff Murray celebrated as driver of the last car running at the Halloween Havoc hit-to-pass demolition derby Saturday night, smoking tires of his full-sized pickup in a flagstand burnout in front of the grandstand at PGARA Speedway.
Murray, a longtime hot-to-pass veteran, run his 94 X truck for 25 laps to finish third in the most laps with a hit category behind Spencer Forseth (35 laps) and Justin Hall (34 laps).
Murray also won the B heat race, while Nathan Linfitt captured the A heat trophy.
Hall won the A dash, Kyle O’Donnell was the B dash winner and TJ Wright took the C dash.
Meanwhile, in the Mini Mayhem class, Corbin McDonald had the last car running when the race was declared over and he finished with 43 laps.
Carter Olson grabbed the title for most laps with a hit, totalling 45, while Liam Burt had 44 laps and Emma Crawford had 32.
Quinten Bonn won the B heat and C dash. Dallas Hall took the A heat, Len Olson grabbed the flag in the B dash and Burt was the A dash winner.
