As far as Jennifer Fewster in concerned, Patti Knezevic picked the wrong day to get hot.
In a clash of Prince George rinks at the B.C. Scotties Tournament of Hearts women's curling championship in Cloverdale, Knezevic scored four in the 10th end to defeat Fewster 8-5.
Knezevic went on to beat Jill Winters of Nelson 8-7 to improve her record to 3-5.
Fewster faced Kelly Scott of Kelowna in the late draw and lost 7-6 in 11 ends to fall to 4-4.
Kelley Law of New Westminster leads with a 7-1 record, followed by Scott and Roz Craig of Duncan, both 6-2. Fewster plays her final round-robin game against Law today at 9:30 a.m., while Knezevic meets Adina Tasaka of New Westminster.
The top four advance to playoffs.
