Liam Blackburn and Scott Cullen worked a little magic with their hockey sticks and helped the Wizards conjure up some gold at a weekend tournament in Whistler.
The Wizards, a spring team formed mostly by players from the Lower Mainland, defeated the Cougar Selects 3-2 in the final game of the Whistler International All-Star Hockey Tournament. Blackburn and Cullen, both 14, were the only Prince George boys on the squad, which posted an overall record of 4-2.
