Raymond Grewal and Jake LeBrun ended a Wild weekend with a championship.

The two Prince George residents helped the Wild to top spot in the B.C. Hockey Under-16 B.C. Cup, a jamboree-style tournament held Friday through Sunday at CN Centre. In the final game, the Wild grabbed an early 2-0 lead against the Sabres and went on to record a 6-0 victory.

"It feels great," said Grewal, a 14-year-old defenceman. "I've never won a B.C. provincial title in my life. It's one of the biggest tournaments I've ever won.

"We had such a great group of guys," Grewal added. "We gelled quick and just bonded really well together. You couldn't ask for a better team."
