BC Rugby has unveiled the schedule for the 2025 northern and interior club leagues.
The season kicks off on May 3, with the 2025 BC Rugby Saratoga Cup in Salmon Arm set for Aug. 9-10.
In the Central Interior, 10 clubs, including the Prince George Gnats, Prince Rupert Seamen, Williams Lake Rustlers and the reigning champion Terrace Northmen RFC will compete for provincial glory.
- May 10 (Away): Prince George Gnats vs. Prince Rupert Seamen at Williams Lake Rugby Club, 1 p.m.
- May 24 (Home): Prince George Gnats vs. Williams Lake Rustlers at noon in Prince George (location not specified)
- May 31 (Away): Williams Lake Rustlers vs. Prince George Gnats at noon, Williams Lake Rugby Club
- June 14 (Away): Williams Lake Rustlers vs. Prince George Gnats at noon, Prince Rupert Seamen
The Okanagan division will see competition from teams like Vernon RFC, Penticton Harlequins, and Salmon Arm Yeti, while the Kootenays division features the three-time Men’s Saratoga Cup champion Rocky Mountain Rogues and new team Trail RFC.
The season will culminate with the Saratoga Cup in August, which will feature men’s and women’s competitions. The Yeti Rugby Club, the host, will have an automatic spot in the men’s competition, with the top team from each region securing the remaining spots.
