That was quite a weekend for Layne Ongman.
Ongman combined for 10 goals to lead the DWB Consulting under-19 ringette team to an undefeated appearance in Quesnel, playing Northern League games.
Ongman, Kayla Gandy and Jenna Buckham each had two markers, and Julia Fertoft added the other goal, in a 7-7 draw with Houston. Ongman followed that up with four tallies, with Buckham adding a single, in a 5-4 win over Quesnel.
Ongman posted another four-goal game, supported by two more goals from Buckham and a single from Jessica Heitman, in a second 7-7 tie with Houston.
The Prince George team is in Calgary next month for a tournament, and will play host to the provincials, slated for March 11-14.
