Spectators enjoyed the warm weather and hot fastball game as they took in the final of the Kyle Garnot Memorial Tournament at Spruce City Stadium Sunday. The 12-team tournament finished with the Vanderhoof Rippers triumphant over the Falcon Construction Angels with a final score of 5-2.
Tournament play was spread between Spruce City Stadium and Ron Wiley Fastball Field, with play starting Friday afternoon and the final on Sunday afternoon.
The tournament was dedicated to Kyle Garnot, a local ball player player who died in August.
