The Prince George Posse -- a club that featured six relative newcomers to the sport -- placed second at the midget B lacrosse provincials, held in Mission on the weekend. In the championship final, the Posse fell 8-2 to Oceanside of Parksville.

"Overall, with six out of 14 players being new from two years ago, I was more than ecstatic with the results," said Posse coach Bill Barwise. "The way (veterans) Carson Toth, Hayden Wagner and our captain, Domenic Sia, mentored the other players all year was awesome.
