The Pursuit of Excellence or the pursuit of happiness?
The Farr Fabricating bantam Tier 1 Cougars hockey team will gladly accept either challenge when they set foot on the ice this weekend at the Kin Centre.
The Pursuit of Excellence is a Kelowna-based hockey academy that will travel north to play Cougars this weekend for a three-game set Saturday and Sunday.
As for the pursuit of happiness, that could apply to both teams. After all, is that not the reason kids play hockey - for the fun of it.
The Sean LeBrun-coached Cougars and Pursuit of Excellence begin to sort out their weekend bragging rights with two games scheduled for Saturday -- 9:30 a.m. at Kin 2 and 7:30 p.m. at Kin 1. The teams meet again on Sunday, starting at 11:15 a.m. at Kin 1.
As the only Tier 1 bantam team in the region, the Cougars are preparing for the provincial championships in Richmond, March 6-12.
