CALGARY -- Mike Raimbault has never put much importance on individual awards. Nonetheless, he was handed a major one Wednesday night in Calgary.

Raimbault, sideline boss of the UNBC Northern Timberwolves men's basketball team, was chosen as the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association coach of the year during the CCAA's All-Canadian banquet, held on the campus of SAIT Polytechnic.

Also at the banquet, UNBC point guard Inderbir Gill was presented with an All-Canadian award. Gill was in the running for the CCAA player of the year but that honour went to Brett Kobe of Calgary's Mount Royal University Cougars.
