Sirens Cup adds new ways for fans to win at Prince George charity hockey game

Prince George RCMP and firefighters play their annual Sirens Cup hockey game at Kopar Memorial Arena where fans can win up to $20,000 during a 50/50 draw

The Prince George RCMP and the Prince George firefighters are getting together for their annual Sirens Cup game at Kopar Memorial Arena, with a chance for fans to win a 50/50 draw with a maximum prize of $20,000.

“From now until the day of the game fans can go to the Spruce Kings website to purchase their 50/50 tickets,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

“We’re excited to add a new fundraising opportunity to this event and hope people will help us raise as much as possible to benefit our chosen charities, Cops for Cancer Tour de North and the Prince George Firefighters Charitable Society.”

The charity game will also feature chuck-a-puck and the fill-the-boot campaign as part of the friendly rivalry.

The RCMP High Brown and the Firefighter uniform boot will be on hand and both sides will be encouraging attendees to help fill the boot of their favourite first-responder team faster.

The game takes place Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. with tickets available for $5 per ticket at the Spruce Kings website in advance.
