The Spruce Kings announced Monday the 20-year-old from London, Ont., has signed a commitment to join the NCAA Division 1 Tigers for their inaugural 2025-26 season.

“We are excited for Trent,” said Spruce Kings head coach Brad Tesink. “In the two seasons he has been with us, he has made great strides as a hockey player and as a person. We will continue to work hard to make sure Trent is in the best position for success when he starts his college hockey journey next season.”

The Spruce Kings are back in action this weekend on home ice at Kopar Memorial Arena, where they host the Alberni Valley Bulldog Friday ( 7 p.m.) and Saturday (6 p.m.).
