St. Rose pulling Iceman double duty

If you didn't get registered in time to race in Sunday's 23rd annual Prince George Citizen Iceman, don't blame Lorelei St. Rose. She's got 600 reasons not to care if you didn't make the Wednesday evening deadline.

If you didn't get registered in time to race in Sunday's 23rd annual Prince George Citizen Iceman, don't blame Lorelei St. Rose.

She's got 600 reasons not to care if you didn't make the Wednesday evening deadline.

As registration director for the Iceman, St. Rose has been busy the last few weeks collecting the names of the 600 people who will be part of the race. In addition, her volunteer position on the Iceman Society committee requires her to sort out orders for Iceman souvenir shirts, banquet tickets and prepare race packages for pickup today.

Besides, the mother of three has training to do as she prepares to tackle the city's premier multisport endurance race as a solo athlete. And that's something she takes seriously. St. Rose, 42, was third in her masters category last year with an impressive time of two hours 33 minutes, her first Iceman race as an individual.
