The Cariboo Cougars U15 team dropped two weekend games to the Greater Vancouver Canadians at Kin 1, losing 5-3 on Saturday and 4-3 on Sunday.
Cariboo (6-4-0-0) dropped to third in the BC Elite Hockey League standings, while eighth-place Greater Vancouver improved to 3-7-0-0.
Friday's game was a tight fought back-and- forth contest with the Canadians opening the scoring and the Cougars tying it up shortly afterwards.
The Canadians were able to open up their lead in the third period and made it stick.
