The UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball teams both lost Friday in Regina.
The women fell 80-56 and the men were on the losing end of a 77-54 score to the University of Regina teams.
Leading the charge for the UNBC women was Sveta Boykova, who secured her third straight double-double with a 16-point, 14 rebound effort. Rebecca Landry (13) and Amrit Manak (11) also finished in double-digits offensively for the TWolves.
On the men’s side, Spencer Ledoux responded with a team-best 16 points for UNBC while Chris Ross secured a team-leading seven rebounds.
Both UNBC teams play the Regina squads again Saturday.
