UNBC women's basketball team lose to Lethbridge

The short-staffed UNBC women’s basketball team lost 82-62 to the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns on Friday at the Northern Sport Centre.

With only an eight-player rotation, rookie Viktoriia Filatova led the charge with a career-best 17 points along with four rebounds and two assists while sophomore guard Adaiah Tupas-Singh chimed in with 10 points and six boards.

The Timberwolves will have Sveta Boykova back in their their lineup as they once again clash with the Pronghorns today at 5 p.m.
