UNBC women's basketball team loses to Okanagan Heat

Sveta Boykova led all scorers with 22 points for UNBC. Rebecca Landry chimed in with 18 points for the Timberwolves.

The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team lost 82-55 Friday to the UBC Okanagan Heat in Kelowna.

Sveta Boykova led all scorers with 22 points for UNBC. Rebecca Landry chimed in with 18 points for the short-staffed TWolves.

The same teams will play again at 6 p.m. before Saturday as the Timberwolves wrap up their 2023 league schedule before resuming league play in January.
