The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team earned a 78-69 win over the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack on Friday in Kamloops.
Sveta Boykova and Rebecca Landry combined to score 39 points for the Timberwolves.
Boykova finished 20 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, while Landry netted 19 and added five rebounds, and Amrit Manak added 13 points.
The two teams will play the second half of their weekend series on Saturday afternoon in Kamloops.
