When Landon Goudreau of Edmonton lost control of his Wild West funny car at 160 miles per hour and clipped the back end of the car driven by fellow racer Jimmy "The Bulldogger" Fersch of Drayton Valley, Alta., during the final round of eliminations at the Rocky Mountain Nostalgia Funny Car event on Saturday, July 26 at Northland Dodge Motorsports Park, photographer/videographer Mark Duthie of Next Level Productions was on the scene.

Duthie spliced footage from his own cameras and from that of Goudreau's helmet cam to produce a wild video of the wreck and the rapid response of emergency crews who rushed to the scene.

For more information on the accident, see the story by Citizen sports reporter Ted Clarke.
