WHL roundup: Cougars claw out 5-2 win over Rockets

Kayden Longley and Hayden Paupanekis scored for the Rockets (17-34-4-2), who were outshot 37-29.

The Rockets went 1-for-3 on the power play, while the Cougars were 0-for-1.

SASKATOON, Sask. — Jackson Unger stopped 30 shots as the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes blanked the Saskatoon Blades 2-0.

Logan McCutcheon had a goal and assist for the Hurricanes (36-19-2-1), while Chase Petersen also scored.

Netminder Ethan McCallum stopped 25 of 27 shots for the Blades (30-19-3-4).
