A loaded semiautomatic rifle, two live pipe bombs and bomb building materials were found during the search of an 1100-block Ahbau Street home last week, RCMP said Monday.
Crown counsel has approved seven counts against each of Dustin Jeffrey Olson, 24, and Meranda Leigh Dingwall, 23, including two counts each of possession of an explosive device.
An RCMP emergency response team and a bomb squad were called in and a block of Ahbau was closed off four about 2 1/2 hours on Thursday morning when police executed a search warrant on the home.
Olson and Dingwall were arrested the evening before. Both remained in custody as of Monday morning.
