Crown counsel has approved two counts of attempted murder with a firearm against each of three people following a shooting in Mackenzie last week.

Meranda Leigh Dingwall, 23, Kelly Michael Richet, 31, and Christopher Ryan Russell, 29, also face one count each of arson damaging property and possession of stolen property.

They were arrested early Friday morning after RCMP in the community of 3,500 people 186 km north of Prince George were called to a report of a drive-by shooting at a Crysdale Drive home.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after several shots were fired, police said.

All three are known to police and the courts.

Dingwall continues to face charges from two previous incidents that made headlines.

She was one of the two people arrested in November after an RCMP bomb squad and emergency response team were called in to remove two live pipe bombs and bomb building materials from an 1100-block Ahbau Street home.

A block of Ahbau was closed off for about 2 1/2 hours during the incident.

Dingwall and Richet were also arrested in April and each charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in relation to a drugs seizure involving a 900-block Ahbau Street home.

And in August 2015, Russell was sentenced to 30 months in jail less credit for 17 months time served for leading attacks on two inmates at Prince George Regional Correctional Centre after one of the victims complained the "big guys" were "hoarding all the milk."

All three remained in custody as of Tuesday.
