Central Mountain Air will provide non-stop flights between Prince George and Dawson Creek starting July 9.
The service will replace the current flight between Vancouver and Dawson Creek but from Prince George there will be connections to Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops and Campbell River.
"CMA's continued expansion at our hub in Prince George enables new options for travellers to connect mid-province reducing travel time," the carrier's president, Douglas McCrea, said.
The 50 minute flight will depart from Prince George on Sunday and Friday at 1 p.m. and on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:45 a.m. The return flight leaves Dawson Creek at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
