Students interested in continuing their education after high school, and their parents, will have a chance to gauge what's on offer at 10 B.C. colleges and universities on Thursday night.
The information event will be held in the Canfor Wintergarden at the University of Northern British Columbia, 7 p.m. start.
Representatives from Royal Military College, Capilano University College of New Caledonia Simon Fraser University, Thompson Rivers University, Trinity Western University, University of British Columbia, University of Northern B.C. and University of Victoria will be on hand.
"While post-secondary reps have visited high schools in the region for many years, the school-hour schedule has traditionally made it difficult for parents to participate in the conversation," the event organizers said in a press release.
"The format of the evening will allow parents and students to interact directly with representatives from all 10 institutions in attendance."
