A ticket purchased in Prince George for the Wednesday Lotto 6-49 draw is a winner.

According to results from the BC Lottery Corporation, the purchaser picked five of the six numbers plus the bonus number that were drawn, good enough to yield $92,496.

A ticket purchased in Quebec is also good for $92,496.

As of Thursday afternoon, the prized had not yet been claimed.

"Keep in mind this (the draw) was just last night so it's not been very long," BCLC spokesperson Erica Simpson said. "This is totally normal for the ticket holders to take this amount of time or longer."

With the novel coronavirus pandemic ongoing, BCLC has an alternate way to claim a prize. Holders of tickets worth more than $25,000 can call 1-866-815-0222.

To check, you can go online, BCLC.com, or to a local retailer.

The odds of getting five of the six main numbers and the bonus number are one in 2.3 million and yield six per cent of the pools fund.
