It is with heartfelt gratitude that I offer this letter of recognition to the community leaders and the citizens of Prince George.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that I offer this letter of recognition to the community leaders and the citizens of Prince George.

I wish to include the following people and organizations:

Shirley Bond, Prince George MLA for clearing the way and making it possible to get my driver's license.

The handful of job coaches from Work B.C., Kopar and the John Howard Society, along with the facilitators from CVTC, who are helping me shape my career path.

The staff of Social Assistance and Employment Insurance offices, for assisting me with my income needs.

The Native Friendship Centre,

St. Vincent De Paul, Ketso Yoh and John Howard Society for helping me with food, shelter and clothing.

I would also like to thank the Prince George Alcoholics Anonymous for their unending support.

Last but not least, our Prince George city officials who foster the spirit of co-operation and build upon community pride.

Without the help and support I received from the above mentioned community leaders the task of rebuilding my life would have been monumental.

Again, it is with a heartfelt thank you to the City of Prince George and its citizens for making it possible and encouraging to make a home in your community.

Allen Olmeda,

Prince George
