There has been a flurry of letters about homosexuality, bigotry, and intolerance in the letters to the editor column of late. Many have expressed dismay that bigotry and intolerance are alive and well in Prince George. It is worth noting that these narrow-minded letters are a good thing. They keep us aware of the existence of this ideology and of the need for constant vigilence, much like how Jerry Falwell, the uber bigot, galvanized a generation in the U.S. to fight against intolerance and bigotry.
