Prince George Cantata Singers and Counterpoints want to shout out a big thank you to Frank Peebles for his excellent article published Nov. 23 in the Prince George Citizen as well as to the community of Prince George for your support at our recent performance.

Our Family Christmas Sing-Along was a big success due, in no small part, to the community members who came and helped up sing this past Sunday at St. Michael's & All Angel's Church. The silent auction fundraiser for the Cantata Singers and the cookie bar fundraiser for St. Michael's food program were successful because you, our great community of Prince George, helped make them successful.

We had a blast Sunday afternoon singing for, and with, each one of you who came out and joined us and look forward to many more years of singing.

Lyn Vernon, interim director, and Maureen Nielson, accompanist, did an excellent job of leading us during our performance. Prince George Cantata Singers, Counterpoints, and all the soloists deserve a hearty well done.

Be sure to catch the performance of the Messiah performed by the Cantata Singers, Counterpoints, and the Prince George Orchestra on Dec. 17 in Vanier Hall. Don't forget to find Prince George Cantata Singers on Facebook and "Like" our page to keep informed about upcoming events and performances.
