Hitchhiking on the highway these days is said to be dangerous, so just think about it.
Common sense says just do not do it. Catch a ride with a family friend or one of your neighbours or take the Greyhound bus that's just what they are there for and if you can't afford the bus fare expense to and from the town you would like to visit, surely you can not afford to shop or stay there.
If you feel you really must hitchhike do it with a friend but not alone.
Whose crazy idea was it to suggest we supply free special bus service to help eliminate dangerous hitchhiking practices for those only who can't afford bus fare.
Who will qualify for this special service, male or female, blonde, red, or long black haired people, or will it be black-, white- or yellow-skinned people, or maybe just the old or young, or poor or rich people?
Will others be jealous of these special lucky people who get the free transportation or will they be furious or maybe so happy for them that would like so very much to donate $50,000 per each local community.
The citizens of this province are not responsible for poor judgment and/or stupid actions.
