Congratulations to Studio Fair on another successful fair. According to the late Allison Morrow's history of the Canadian Federation of University Women, Prince George Club, the CFUW started the first craft fair in 1971, called October Fair. The first venue was Highglen School, then St. Andrew's United Church, then the Inn of the North. This craft fair became so popular, that as a member of the Spinners' and Weavers' Guild, and a member of Studio 2880, Allison asked them to take over and it became Studio 2880 Fair.
