I truly agree with Sarah Meush's letter on Tuesday. There are no doctors in Prince George to be had. I have a 22-month-old child and she and I have been without a doctor since she was 12 months old. She still hasn't had her 18 month check-up. Our regular doctor's office is the walk-in-clinic. This is also the clinic that misdiagnosed a problem she had twice before I finally got in to see a pediatrician at the hospital, and got the real answer, but not before she was so sick that she had to be hospitalized on IV fluids. I think it is a ridiculous system that I am paying for. I am getting nothing for my money! I get faster and more accurate results when I ask the veterinarians at my job questions about illnesses for me or my child, we just don't have the parameters for human blood work, or else I would solely rely on the veterinarians.
