The IMSS staff want to express that they remain united in their appreciation for all that Mrs. Sethi has done for the society and for the community.
Her efforts have been recognized locally, provincially and nationally and with good reason.
Her unflagging determination to improve the experience of newcomers cannot be denied, and as a team we have supported that vision. In fact, we continue to support that vision wholeheartedly. But change and evolution are facts of life and this is one instance where IMSS must change, just like all other organizations.
By doing so, we strive to make a better future.
Despite the challenges of recent months, we would like the public to know that IMSS is still fully operational and IMSS employees are truly working together as one team to meet the needs of newcomers.
This team works tirelessly for the benefit of our clients. Each person on our team is always willing to learn and go the extra mile. All the employees at the IMSS are committed to the vision of the society. We are looking to the future with hope and optimism. Our mission remains the same and unchanged: to serve and support immigrants, refugees and other newcomers to our community.
We will continue this important work and will continue to promote multiculturalism, racial harmony and the elimination of racism from our communities, in Prince George and the surrounding areas.
